So, before I start the highly anticipated chronicle of my past few days, I just want to do another plug for 3 Jokes a Day. It’s being updated 3 times a day with new, topical jokes. Chris, Alex, and I, are really trying to get this to take off. So, if you can spread it around, that’d be great. At the end of the day, it’s just for us. It’s really just a way for us to work out our comedy muscles (which is good, because I have no intention on working out any other type of muscle.) But, if it gets noticed, then that’s an awesome bonus.

Out my window, I just heard some guy yell to another guy, “Hey, fuck you asshole!” Cities are awesome. I like to imagine that he was angry because of something really upper class…like someone messed up his tea order. I think that makes it a lot funnier.

Sunday was of my lazier days. Like, I don’t want to brag or anything…but I’m really good at being lazy. The only thing of merit I did was do some exploring on State st. in the South Loop. I went into a few stores and found a coffee shop to chill out in. You know, cool city-guy stuff.

We performed our silent movie sketch on Monday. If anyone is wondering why the Skybox theater stage smells like bananas and whipped cream…that’s because we absolutely covered the stage in it. 3 people got pied in the face, but what we didn’t realize when we were rehearsing was that the pie will splatter. Now, I’ve got to be clear here. Splatter may not be a strong enough word. There was cream everywhere. (Hey, that’s also a sex joke. You readers sure are lucky today.) It took a solid chunk of time to clean up before the next act could go. I’m extremely happy with how it turned out. We went big, and then we went home.

Class today was pretty standard (or, as standard as comedy school can be.) We either presented sketches, read sketches, or rehearsed sketches. This is Major:Undecided’s wet dream.

Tonight is dollar burger night + The Reckoning. See you there! Just kidding, I won’t see you there…unless you’re coming up to surprise me. In which case, I’m delighted to see you.
